Helmets and accessories

A reliable safety helmet is essential during work at height. Helmets protect the head against falling objects, impacts and injuries caused by falls, helping to create a safer working environment.

About helmets and accessories

Helmets designed for work at height combine protection with comfort and functionality. Modern helmets feature adjustable fitting systems that allow the helmet to be precisely adapted to the user’s head while remaining securely in place during work. Many models are also equipped with an adjustable chin strap suitable for both work at height and ground-level activities.

Petzlhelmets are built with a modular design, making it easy to add accessories such as visors, hearing protection, headlamps and neck protection. This allows the helmet to be adapted to specific working environments and safety requirements.

Vertex helmet

The Petzl Vertex safety helmet provides reliable protection for professionals working at height, in industrial environments and on complex project sites. The helmet features a six-point textile suspension system combined with the CENTERFIT and FLIP&FIT adjustment systems, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit, even during prolonged use. Its adjustable chin strap can be configured for either work at height or ground-level work, providing additional safety and wearing comfort. The robust outer shell protects against impacts and shocks, while the modular design allows accessories such as visors, headlamps and hearing protection to be easily added.

Typical applications:

  • Fall protection and work at height
  • Industrial maintenance and construction
  • Installation and assembly work
  • Project sites where head protection and fall protection are required

Vertex Vent helmet

The Petzl Vertex Vent is a comfortable, ventilation-optimised safety helmet designed for work at height and industrial environments. It features adjustable ventilation openings with sliding shutters that can easily be opened or closed, allowing airflow to be regulated more effectively in warm conditions. Like the standard Vertex helmet, the six-point textile suspension system combined with the CENTERFIT and FLIP&FIT systems ensures a stable, secure and comfortable fit. The robust chin strap remains securely positioned in the event of a fall, and the helmet is compatible with various accessories such as headlamps, visors and hearing protection.

Typical applications:

  • Work in warm environments or physically demanding conditions
  • Telecom and mast installation work
  • Wind energy installations
  • Roofing and façade work
  • Projects where additional ventilation is required

TR 2000 helmet

The Tractel TR 2000 safety helmet is a lightweight industrial safety helmet designed for professional use in construction, maintenance and work at height. The helmet features a durable ABS outer shell combined with a comfortable four-point chin strap and adjustable headband, allowing quick and precise adjustment for different users. Thanks to its ergonomic design with a short peak, upward visibility is improved, which is especially useful during installation or inspection work. The TR 2000 complies with EN 397 and provides reliable basic head protection, with optional accessories available such as visors and hearing protection.

Typical applications:

  • General construction work
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Work at height and fall protection
  • Work in environments with limited visibility
  • Project sites where constant head protection is required
