Connecting links

Connecting links are a crucial part of any professional lifting system. They allow chains and components to be assembled quickly and correctly into a safe and efficient lifting solution. Our Gunnebo connecting links are available in a range of sizes and strength classes, suitable for different working loads and applications in industry, construction and logistics. Need advice on choosing the right connecting link? We're happy to help.

About connecting links

Connecting links, as the name suggests, are used to connect components. They form the link between master links, chains, hooks and other chain components. They add flexibility when assembling chain slings.

Coupling link type G

The G coupling link is a reliable connecting link for assembling chain components. Thanks to its robust design, the link can be mounted easily and provides a secure connection between the chain and lifting components.

The coupling link is often used when assembling lifting configurations or replacing components within an existing chain sling assembly.

Typical applications:

  • Connecting chain components and lifting structures
  • Repairing or modifying lifting configurations
  • Safely extending existing chain assemblies

Coupling link type CL

The CL coupling link is designed for the safe connection of chains to lifting components such as hooks or master links. Thanks to its strong and compact design, the CL link forms a reliable connection within chain sling assemblies.

This link is commonly used in professional lifting configurations where flexibility and reliability are essential.

Typical applications:

  • Chain sling assemblies
  • Connecting hooks and master links
  • Industrial lifting applications

CLD coupling link

The CLD coupling link is an innovative connecting link developed for the quick and safe assembly of chain legs in two-leg chain sling assemblies. Thanks to its smart locking system, the link can be installed easily without complex tools.

Typical applications:

  • Assembling chain legs
  • Quick replacement of components
  • Industrial lifting applications

C-Grab coupling link

The C-Grab coupling link is specially designed for shortening or positioning chain legs. Thanks to its design, the chain can be secured safely without additional components.

This makes the C-Grab particularly suitable for applications where the length of a chain leg must be adjusted quickly.

Typical applications:

  • Chain slings + shortening applications
  • Connecting hooks and master links
  • Industrial lifting applications

Coupling link type CG

The CG coupling link is a commonly used connecting link for assembling multi-leg chain sling assemblies. The link provides a safe and stable connection between the chain legs and master links.

Thanks to its robust construction and simple assembly, the CG is widely used in industrial lifting systems.

Typical applications:

  • Shortening chain sling assemblies
  • Lifting asymmetrical loads
  • Flexible lifting configurations
  • Quickly adjusting chain lengths on site
