About lifting points

SKP offers eyebolts in both Grade 80 and Grade 100 quality. Customers can choose from a wide range of options.  The Gunnebo Grade 100 range is extensive, with lifting points from size M6 to M48 and WLLs ranging from 0.3 tonnes to 40 tonnes. You can also choose whether the lifting points should be weldable, screwable or swivel.

Our range of lifting points

BLP Lifting Point

The Gunnebo BLP is a ball-bearing swivel lifting point designed for applications where the load needs to rotate during lifting. Thanks to the integrated ball bearing system, the lifting point rotates smoothly, making it much easier to position heavy loads.

This makes the BLP particularly suitable for situations where components need to be rotated during assembly or maintenance. It is also highly suitable for applications with limited available space.

Typical applications:

  • Maintenance and assembly of heavy machinery
  • Positioning components during assembly
  • Industrial and mechanical engineering applications

DLP Lifting Point

The DLP lifting point is a robust swivel lifting point specially designed for applications involving dynamic loads. It can rotate 360° and pivot 180°, ensuring the force is always correctly aligned with the load.

This improves safety and reduces unwanted stress on the attachment point.

Typical applications:

  • Heavy industrial lifting applications
  • Mechanical engineering and construction work
  • Installations with variable lifting directions

RLP Lifting Point

The RLP lifting point is a compact and versatile swivel lifting point developed for a wide range of industrial lifting applications. Its smart design allows the lifting point to align automatically with the direction of the lifting force, improving safety and reducing unwanted stress on the attachment point.

One of the key features of the RLP is its removable D-ring. This allows lifting equipment such as a round sling, master link or hook to be connected directly to the lifting point. The D-ring can also be removed easily by turning it, without the use of tools.

The lifting point is designed for various lifting situations, including vertical lifting, angled lifting, lifting with limited headroom and tilting loads under tension. This makes it a highly flexible solution for both single-leg and multi-leg lifting configurations.

Typical applications:

  • Vertical and angled lifting operations
  • Lifting with limited headroom
  • Tilting or positioning loads
  • Lifting single components or multiple components simultaneously
  • Assembly and maintenance work in industrial and mechanical engineering environments

LPE Lifting Point

The Gunnebo LPE lifting point is a versatile and safe screw-in lifting point, developed as a modern alternative to traditional eyebolts. It combines a compact design with high flexibility and is suitable for both temporary and permanent lifting applications.

Thanks to its integrated ball bearing system, the lifting point can rotate 360° under load, allowing the lifting force to align automatically with the load. The patented link design also reduces the risk of shock loading during lateral lifting, significantly improving safety.

The LPE lifting point can be installed in several ways – hand-tight, with an Allen key or with a spanner – making installation simple and safe. It is available in various thread sizes and designed for use across a wide range of industrial applications.

Typical applications:

  • Lifting machinery, motors and gearboxes
  • Handling dies and moulds
  • Industrial assembly and maintenance applications
  • Applications involving side loading or variable lifting directions

SLP Lifting Point

The SLP lifting point is a screwable lifting point with a compact design, ideal for applications with limited installation space. The lifting point automatically aligns itself with the direction of the lifting force, helping to avoid side loading.

It is equipped with a stay-up function, ensuring the lifting point remains upright at all times and making load attachment easier.

Typical applications:

  • Machinery with limited installation space
  • Industrial installations
  • Maintenance work

WLP Lifting Point

The WLP lifting point is designed for applications where high load capacity and maximum safety are required. This weldable lifting point offers a reliable solution in situations where the use of a threaded connection is not possible. Thanks to its robust design and high-quality materials, the WLP can safely handle heavy loads.

The WLP lifting point is equipped with a stay-up function, allowing the load to be attached quickly and without damage.

Typical applications:

  • Heavy structures
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Industrial production environments

Grade 80 eye bolts made from non-ageing steel are a classic and reliable solution for creating temporary and permanent lifting points. They are screwed directly into a threaded hole and provide a quick and practical way to lift loads.

They are commonly used for standard lifting operations where the load mainly acts in a vertical direction.

Typical applications:

  • Temporary and permanent lifting points
  • Assembly and maintenance work
  • Transport of machinery or components

Grade 80 eye nuts made from non-ageing steel are used to create a safe lifting point on an existing threaded rod or bolt. They are easy to install and provide a strong connection for a wide range of lifting applications.

Thanks to their versatility, eye nuts are frequently used in industrial environments, mechanical engineering and construction work.

Typical applications:

  • Lifting via threaded rods
  • Structures and machine components
  • Temporary mounting points
