Frequently asked questions

From initial advice to repairs after many years of use – there’s a lot to say about working with SKP. You’ll find the most frequently asked questions from (potential) customers on this page.

What is the difference between SKP and other safety equipment suppliers?

At SKP, you don’t just buy products, you buy certainty. We combine advice, engineering, inspection and repair under one roof. That way, you know everything is right: technically, legally and practically.

Do you also offer custom solutions?

Absolutely. We provide standard solutions that are available directly from stock. In addition, our in-house engineering team develops bespoke solutions, which we also manufacture ourselves.

Which brands does SKP supply?

We mainly work with European brands that we have thoroughly screened for quality and safety.

Can I have equipment inspected or repaired that wasn’t purchased from SKP?

Yes, of course. In our workshop, we are happy to inspect and repair equipment from other suppliers, provided that the necessary spare parts are available.

Does SKP carry out site visits or on-site safety assessments?

Our specialists can certainly visit your site to assess the situation and provide tailored advice.

Why is the EDTC inspection included as standard in your quote?

Because we believe it is our responsibility to deliver fully approved equipment to our customers. It's part of our DNA. This way, nothing is left to chance and it saves our customers valuable time.

How do I drop off or collect my equipment?

You can deliver or collect your equipment at our workshop during office hours. Alternatively, you can use our 24/7 collection container on our site.

Can I request training or a demonstration for my team?

Absolutely. Through the SKP Academy, we can organise training or demonstrations after the purchase and installation of a new product. This can take place at our site, your site or another location.

How quickly can SKP deliver or carry out repairs?

That depends on the type of product or repair, but we understand that speed matters. We work with a large stock and short lead times, so you can get back to work quickly, when a bespoke solution is required.

Which sectors does SKP mainly work with?

We primarily work with companies in construction and various industrial sectors. But don’t hesitate to contact us, no matter how niche your activity or sector may be.
