SK System

The Gunnebo SK System is a modular coupling system for assembling lifting configurations using chain slings, steel wire ropes and synthetic slings.

The system is designed for maximum flexibility, quick assembly and secure connections. Components can easily be combined and adapted depending on the application.

A unique feature of the SK System is its electrical insulation up to 1000 V, making it particularly suitable for applications involving electrical hazards.

How does the system work?

The SK System uses a coupling connection with pin and locking mechanism, allowing all components to be connected safely and securely.

The electrical insulation remains fully maintained throughout the system, which is essential for applications involving electrical current or welding activities.

What makes this swivel unique?

The SKLI / SKLU swivel is an essential component within the SK System and combines rotation under load with electrical insulation.

Thanks to the integrated ball bearing, the load can rotate freely, while the insulation prevents electrical current from travelling through the lifting configuration.

Why use an insulated swivel?

With standard lifting components, electrical current can travel through the load or lifting assembly. The SKLI / SKLU prevents this by interrupting electrical conductivity within the system.
