Carabiners

Carabiners are an essential connection point within a fall protection system. They are used to safely connect different components such as harnesses, lifelines, lanyards and anchor points. Thanks to their robust construction and locking systems, carabiners provide a reliable connection between the user and the safety system during work at height. At SKP, you’ll find a wide range of carabiners from professional brands such as Petzl and Tractel, suitable for applications in industry, construction and maintenance.

About carabiners

Carabiners are connectors specifically designed for use in personal fall protection systems. They comply with EN 362, the European standard defining the requirements for strength, safety and reliability of connectors used in fall protection equipment. Many models are equipped with automatic or screw-locking systems to prevent accidental opening. Carabiners are available in different shapes, materials and locking mechanisms depending on the application. Lightweight aluminium carabiners are often preferred for mobility and comfort, while steel versions offer increased wear resistance in demanding industrial environments.
